Hello world,
As our Silver Award comes to a close, we'd like to take a moment to look back. Over a very interesting one year, we managed to create a 50 slide intensive welcome guide for the new teams, film a ten minute recruitment documentary, design a cohesive website, get invited to present at a workshop for younger Girl Scouts, and so much more. It's been a difficult but rewarding journey and we are ever grateful that you joined us on it.
So what exactly does our Silver Award finishing mean? Well for starters, it means we're getting ready to submit our project to the Girl Scout Silver Award Council who then reviews it before deciding to approve it or not. Once approved, we actually get the award which happens to be the highest honor that can be bestowed on Cadettes (yay!). This also means that after this point, we will no longer actively add to this project. Ultimately, this project will still continue to live on- as characteristic of any Silver Award which must be sustainable. So please, continue using our resources and share them with others if you find them helpful. Despite us finishing this project, we would still love to hear from you so feel free to reach out if you have any comments or concerns.
This journey is almost over but we can't end it without thanking all the people who helped us along the way. We've worked with some awesome people including some amazing teams and especially our troop leader and project advisor. Thank you Hanna Vu, Google Robotics Program Coordinator, and Muryum Siddiqui, 60629 Troop Leader, for always offering just the right type of guidance and making this project possible.
And so for the last time…
Stay safe and peace out,
Khadija, Amina, & Zaynab
