WHO WE ARE:
We’re Team Gynoid! We have been part of VEX Robotics for four years now and the experience has been more than rewarding! We are also part of Girl Scouts, and as part of a service project we decided to give back to the robotics community that has helped us so much.

WHAT WE DO
Getting more girls involved. . .
We first got involved with VEX in sixth grade at a Girl Powered Workshop. It was a two day program and the fact that lunch was provided made it all the much better. From there, we've embarked on a journey that was worth millions. During our time with VEX, we've noticed that there's a disproportionate number of boys and girls. With a pandemic at large and all Girl Powered events cancelled, we decided that as part of our Silver Award, we would ensure that more girls would be joining VEX in the coming years. A Silver Award is a Girl Scout honor and means taking on a project that will successfully eliminate or reduce the root cause of a problem we've identified in our community.
